Your Mercedes has more power – now it needs authorization to use it. Our CPC NG unlock lays the groundwork for appropriate torque authorization and V-Max adjustment. We tune the engine, CPC and transmission as one connected system.

Think of the CPC NG as your Mercedes' authorization center. The engine can generate power and the transmission can transfer it – the CPC helps determine how much torque is actually authorized. The V-Max limit is also stored in the CPC. CPC NG stands for the newer generation of Central Powertrain Controller.
New engine software can provide more power and torque. If the CPC authorizations remain at stock settings, some of this potential may be limited. The CPC NG therefore needs to match the engine tune: the desired power should be usable in the drivetrain, not just appear in the file.
We coordinate the engine software, CPC authorizations and transmission. Actual torque values should be transmitted correctly to avoid falsified torque reporting. This ensures coherent interaction between power delivery, shifting behavior and the vehicle's control systems.
Whether Stage 1, existing third-party software or a larger build: CPC adjustments are based on your power target. The speed limit stored in the CPC can be adjusted as part of the project. You receive a clearly agreed scope matched to the engine, transmission and vehicle.
The CPC NG unlock currently costs a flat rate of 799 € at CT Performance. You can request it separately or combine it with our engine and transmission tuning. Additional engine or transmission work is itemized separately in the quote.
Does your vehicle already have a performance upgrade or modified hardware? We take its current configuration into account. This also applies to Brabus builds based on a suitable Mercedes-AMG. One contact coordinates the interaction of engine, CPC NG and transmission.
