What we offer you.
A higher top speed
We adjust the electronic speed limit so your electric car can go faster. We agree on the desired top speed and intended use before the order.
What is changed on the car?
We modify the software in the control unit. This unit is called the EVPT VCU3000, a small computer that controls the electric drivetrain's power delivery and speed limit. The motor is not replaced for this software tune.
Simply have it done at CT Performance
You can bring your vehicle to us. Alternatively, we can work on the removed control unit by arrangement. On suitable variants, the control unit housing remains closed. We explain the process and handle the software work.
What does this mean for range?
Using more power or driving faster generally consumes more energy. Cold temperatures and charge level also influence available power. We discuss which tune suits your vehicle and preferences.

What does EV tuning offer me?

Do I need to know about control units?
No. Tell us your vehicle and what you want. We handle the technical identification and explain the process.

Can I change only the top speed?
Yes, you can also request a speed limiter adjustment separately.
Can I have the car reset to the original software?
Restoration is agreed using a suitable original software version and the method used.
Can I still drive it with an AM license and an insurance plate afterward?
Increasing speed above 45 km/h takes the vehicle outside its original class. Before using it on public roads, approval, driver's license requirements and insurance for the modified vehicle must be clarified.
