Stage 1 · Torque tuning
The entry point for DSG tuning: The focus is on torque limits matched to the engine software. To coordinate the engine and transmission, we check the actual engine torque and transmission type. This does not automatically include a complete change to driving modes.
Stage 2 · Shifting & response
More extensive adjustments for a tuned vehicle. Possible areas include clutch control, shift times and behavior when pulling away and accelerating. We agree on shift-point and response adjustments suited to the engine and DSG.
Stage 3 · Extended tuning
For more demanding requirements in engine and transmission coordination. Depending on hardware and software, further clutch control and driving-mode adjustments may be possible. Manual-mode and launch control functions are checked individually for availability.
DSG stage designations are not standardized. The descriptions show possible areas of focus; not every feature is available on every transmission or automatically included. We confirm the exact scope for your vehicle in the quote. Software does not increase a transmission's mechanical load capacity.
