KESS3 3.61

Iveco, Case IH and New Holland: unlock FPT control units locally

KESS3 3.61 adds Boot unlock for protected Bosch MD1CE101 in FPT applications from 2021. Further work is then possible via OBD or Bench.

Alientech expands support for Bosch MD1CE101 “Locked” in FPT-powered applications from 2021. The manufacturer list includes Iveco Eurocargo, S-Way and Trakker; Case IH Maxxum, Puma, Magnum and other series; Claas Axion; and New Holland T6, T7, T8 and T9.

Initial access requires opening the ECU and a Boot unlock with the KESS3 Unlock Module, which applies the necessary patch. Existing OBD or Bench protocols can then be used without reopening the control unit.

Besides trucks and tractors, support includes selected harvesting, construction and forestry machines, and generators. Matching the specific FPT engine and ECU software version remains decisive.
