AutotunerManufacturer release:

Renault E-Tech and Alpine A290: new software access for EVs and hybrids

Bosch VC1CP010 is supported by Autotuner in Bench mode after a mail-in unlock. Support covers selected electric and hybrid models from the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance.

Autotuner adds Bosch VC1CP010 with TC387 in Bench mode. Examples include Renault 4 and 5 E-Tech with the 6AK electric motor, plus Megane E-Tech, Scenic E-Tech and Alpine A290 with 6AM. Manufacturer coverage also includes selected Nissan electric models and E-Tech hybrids from Renault, Dacia, Nissan and Mitsubishi.

A mail-in unlock is required before access: the ECU must be sent to the unlocking service. Bench Normal Read, writing, backup creation and checksum correction are then supported. A suitable Bench cable is offered as an optional accessory.

Autotuner specifies about two minutes for reading and 30 seconds for writing. Protocol support alone does not establish a particular power gain or interchangeability of power variants. Region, vehicle version and ECU software version must be checked individually.
