Honda motorcycles and scooters: Bench access for Keihin 38770
KESS3 3.66 adds Bench Virtual Reading for Keihin 38770-XXX-XXX with RH850. The control unit remains closed when connected through its plug.
The October 16, 2026 release covers supported Honda applications from 2019. Alientech lists CB 750 Hornet, CB 650 R, CRF 1100 Africa Twin, XL 750 Transalp, X-ADV 750, Forza 750, Rebel 1100, Monkey 125 and SH 350i ABS, among others.
Bench access through the ECU connector with Virtual Reading is new. It supplies the appropriate original file from the database; an already modified calibration is not read this way. OBD Virtual Reading and Boot were already available. The specific Keihin part number and vehicle version must match the release.
