KESS3 3.64

Jaguar and Land Rover gasoline hybrids: unlock MG1CS028

KESS3 3.64 enables Boot unlock of protected Bosch MG1CS028 units. Boot and Bench are then available for further work.

The October 12, 2026 release covers selected Ingenium turbo gasoline engines with mild-hybrid or plug-in hybrid drivetrains from 2021. Alientech lists Jaguar F-Pace and E-Pace, plus Land Rover Defender, Discovery, Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Velar.

For initial access, the ECU is unlocked in Boot mode using the additional KESS3 Unlock Module. The complete control unit contents can then be read and written in Boot or through the existing Bench protocol. The release describes available support; it does not authorize OBD access.
