Siemens SIMTEC71: OBD support for older Opel gasoline models
Autotuner adds OBD Normal Read for SIMTEC71, including Opel Astra and Vectra with 1.8i Ecotec.
SIMTEC71 with C167 and 29F400 can now be accessed via OBD Normal Read. The calibration area is read; checksum correction is included.
The manufacturer list includes Opel/Vauxhall Astra, Corsa, Tigra and Vectra with 1.8i Ecotec, Omega and Zafira with 2.2i, and Subaru Traviq with 1.8i Ecotec. The ECU and specific software version must match the supported protocol.
Stated times are twelve minutes for reading and seven minutes for writing.
