Scania, Doosan and Develon: EMS S6/S8 now via OBD in beta
Autotuner expands OBD Normal Read for Motorola EMS S6 and Continental EMS S8. New support covers trucks and selected industrial and construction machinery with Scania engines.
Motorola EMS S6 and Continental EMS S8 (EMD1) are supported via OBD Normal Read explicitly as beta. The manufacturer list includes Scania 4-Series and P/G/R/S-Series in various Euro 3 to Euro 6 versions, plus Scania DC09 and DC16 industrial and agricultural engines.
Doosan or Develon examples include DX380 LC-7 and DX530 LC-7 excavators, DL420-3, DL420-5 and DL450-5 wheel loaders, and Moxy MT31. The actual installed ECU is decisive, not the model name alone.
The special Autotuner 24 V OBD cable is required on the vehicle. An “OBD on the bench” connection is possible with the Scania S6/S8 Bench cable; this wiring is not a separate Bench protocol. Calibration is read. The protocols have been released but remain in beta.
