Peugeot, Citroën and DS 1.6 THP: new OBD access
Bosch MED17.4 with TC1796 can now be read and written directly through the diagnostic port. Support expands the options for suitable 1.6 THP gasoline models.
On October 12, 2026, Autotuner released OBD Normal Read for Bosch MED17.4 with TC1796. Manufacturer examples include Peugeot 207, 208, 308 and RCZ, plus Citroën C4, DS3, DS4 and DS5. The ECU actually installed is decisive; the announcement does not apply indiscriminately to every vehicle in these model series.
Calibration is read from the control unit. Checksum correction is included. Autotuner specifies about 75 seconds for reading and 30 seconds for writing. Support is released and is not marked as beta.
