Ford and Lincoln: Continental EMS control units via OBD
EMS2211, EMS2301, EMS2302 and EMS2701 are supported via OBD Normal Read – including selected Ford hybrids.
Autotuner expands OBD access to Continental EMS2211, EMS2301, EMS2302 and EMS2701. The protocol actually reads the calibration and includes checksum correction.
Listed applications include Ford Ka 1.0/1.2, various Duratec Ti-VCT models, and C-Max, Mondeo and Lincoln MKZ with 2.0 HEV. EMS2701 covers applications including Kuga/Escape, Maverick and Galaxy with 2.5 FHEV/PHEV, and Lincoln Corsair 2.5 PHEV.
Manufacturer specifications give four minutes for reading and one minute 45 seconds for writing.
