Bosch MG1CS018: OBD for Ford and Lincoln V6 models
OBD Virtual Read and writing for selected EcoBoost models – without removing the control unit.
Bosch MG1CS018 with TC298 is supported via OBD Virtual Read/Write. Virtual Read supplies the appropriate original calibration; it does not read an already modified calibration from the vehicle.
The list includes F-150 2.7 EcoBoost, Ranger 3.0 V6 EcoBoost, Explorer 3.0 V6 EcoBoost and selected PHEV versions, Edge 2.7 EcoBoost, Transit 3.5 V6 EcoBoost, and Lincoln Aviator 3.0 V6.
The stated write time is eight minutes; checksum correction is included.
